 Abstract

Rotating machinery plays an imperative part in modem applications. With a specific end goal to keep the machine performing taking care of its best, one of the important devices for the finding of rotating machinery issues is the vibration investigation. This study is revolved around weakness determination of fault diagnosis of bearing utilizing predictive maintenance techniques. A test seat which has a motor and a shaft appended along with two different kind of bearing that are faulty bearing and healthy bearing. The vibration reaction are gained and investigated for the different deformities of bearing. The specific imperfections are considered as corrosion in external race or inner race with rough surface and corrosion pitting m ball component. After performing the experiment, examination will be carried out between the experimental data which has an input for the ommtrend software. The outcome demonstrate that the when we analyze all the concision than we use as an automated diagnosis of bearing. It is also observed that severe vibration occur under the bearing with the ball with corrosion pitting and when the speed is increases then all the defective bearings stop to rotate.

 Abstract

The introduction of helical baffle in a shell is used as passive heat transfer technique and this task becomes more important when there is demand of rapid heat transfer. Helical baffle having an advantage of lower pressure drop and Lower fouling resistance over segmental baffle. In this experiment an attempt is made to increase the heat transfer rate and decreasing the pressure drop by adjusting the helical baffle up to that angle which gives minimum pressure loss. For increasing the heat transfer rate simple cupper tube is replaced by the grooved and finned tube and experimental investigation has been carried out with both simple cupper tube and grooves and finned tube at same operational condition with different mass flow rates and it is noticed that grooved and finned tube with helical baffle at 25 degree having better thermal performance in terms of heat transfer coefficient, pressure drop, particle mixing.

 Abstract

The progress of bioinformatics generates a large volume to data that needs to be analyzed in order to identify various structures. Proteins, involved in several important tasks in living organism, are a mixture of amino acids which have different structures and patterns. The number of primary structures solved and stored in databases are growing faster than our capability to solve these tertiary structures using different experimental methods. The analysis of bioinformatics data has seen major shifts from traditional data mining approach to hybrid approaches. This paper proposes fuzzy association method as an algorithm for mining proteomic data. Fuzzy association rule helps to recognize the uncertainties and vagueness in patterns of the protein structure. The methodology considers the perception and cognitive uncertainty of subjective decisions allowing the usage of imprecise description of protein data.

 Abstract

As security is being a big issue these days therefore main focus is on increasing the security by any mean. Media access control (MAC) spoofing is common in these days. As it is a permanent address assigned to interface of each device network card connected to the intemet. They function at layer 2 (i.e. data link layer). MAC address can easily be spoofed in WLAN network i.e. being a problem because the intruder can access the resources or do some criminal activity without the knowledge of other and all blame for it will go to the original one. Even if we detect the presence of intruder it is difficult to tell which one is the original one as both node claim itself as genuine node so it's difficult for server to find which one is the original one. So our main purpose is to identify the genuine client from the outsiders to avoid mac spoofing and to provide a secure environment for communication.

 Abstract

With the increasing population many different parts of the world is facing water problem due its scarcity of its limited supply and resources and effects on the human health by the polluted water due to various anthropogenic activities. This paper fords the various physiochemical and microbial parameters results based on standard methods and discusses on the impacts on human health if beyond permissible limit. The water samples were collected from different places of Jalandhar and stored. The parameters that were included in the test were temperature, pH, turbidity, hardness, TDS, TSS, alkalinity, chlorides, sulfates, fluorides, etc. The microbial analysis is done in order to find the MNP index per 100 ml of water sample.
